The California Energy Commission’s (CEC) Energy Efficiency Program covers external power adapters manufactured after January 1, 2007 or July 1, 2007 depending on the intended application. The Program requires a minimum efficiency level during Active and No-Load modes of operation.

 

NETGEAR is currently shipping North America print servers with external power adapters which meet the stricter CEC regulations.  NETGEAR intends to comply with the CEC external power adapter regulations for all North America products manufactured by July 1, 2007.
