IEEE 802.11N is now a Ratified Standard

The IEEE Standards Board has officially ratified the IEEE 802.11N as a standard with significantly improved data rates and ranges for Wireless LAN communications. See IEE Standards Association for IEEE's announcement on September 11, 2009.

NETGEAR's wireless products based on the draft 802.11n will comply to this new IEEE standard specification. Furthermore, effective September 30, 2009 when the WiFi Alliance (WFA) program for Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ n is in effect, all NETGEAR products that have achieved Draft 11n certification from the WFA will be Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ n compliant and will be identified with the following logo:
